Yarn Along

I'm just about to start the lace section on my Multnomah.  I'm a bit nervous.  This wool, Malabrigo Lace, its like knitting with thin air.  You hardly know whether the wool's in your hand or not sometimes! I know I'll never be able to fix a mistake in it and ripping back sections of lace is so incredibly tedious.  I think I'm going to use a life line every 5 rows or so.  Its going to be so soft this one, and the subtle colour variations are divine.

I've started reading Secret Daughter on my iPad.  I'm definitely not over books but I think love reading this way.  You don't have to hold the pages open, its bright and easy on your eyes, it already knows where you last left off. What about you. What do you prefer? Are you a die hard paper book lover or have you been tempted to the digital book world.

Happy Knitting!

  1. I can imagine that fixing a mistake would be absolutely awful with that kind of yarn. But it's so pretty and I love the shade of green you chose!
I'm afraid I'm a die hard paper book lover =) I know, "never say never" but I don't think that will ever change.

  2. Its going to lovely I'm sure, but totally hear you on the lace! I read books still, we have a tablet that is basically only for book reading, but its not yet my preferred method; partly because I get 99% of my books from the library and they don't have a great range of ebooks(yet)!
